Spin In: Wheel Spinning Open Session

Need more practice spinning on a wheel? Want to meet other spinners in the community? Come to this open study spin-in and practice with your peers and a mentor. You will gain more confidence in drafting fiber and adding consistent twist to create the yarn you desire. Bring your own spinning wheel & fiber or purchase fiber at the shop.

Instructor: Susan Lopez

Skills Required: Be able to draft and spin fiber into a continuous thread on a wheel.

Skills Learned: This spin-in session does not have a structured lesson, but an experienced mentor will be available to answer questions and provide help with spinning wheel issues.

One 3-hour session

Supplies Required: Spinning wheel, fiber.

Class Size: 6 students maximum, 2 students minimum. If the 2 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date. 

This class is "mask optional".
